Job Description We are seeking a digital advertising expert in the hotel/hospitality vertical with experience in running advertising programs from strategy to execution through performance tracking and reporting, focusing on SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and Meta Marketing (Google Hotel Ads, TripAdvisor, Trivago, Kayak, etc.) to develop and produce significant ROI on these crucial channels in our portfolio of 20
resorts, through experimentation, scaling, and optimization, while working closely with revenue management, digital analytics, business, product, engineering, and brand teams. This is a hands-on role, requiring technical experience in these disciplines. The Digital Advertising Specialist, SEM/META will be responsible for, among other things:
Developing, driving, and reporting on end to end marketing strategies for SEM and Hotels META Ads Exceeding ambitious but achievable profit and return on investment goals for the assigned channels across multiple sites, geographies, and languages Partnering with our dedicated vendor engineering team (partner will be DerbySoft) to develop tools and features needed over the long run to enhance our profit margins Developing best partner relationship(s) to access best practices and work closely with existing vendors (Google, Bing, and more) to ensure quality advice and guidance from current account management, with an eye to become the in house SME on this channel of advertising Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key performance metrics and identify areas of opportunity to improve KPIs across areas of responsibility, specifically with regards to the analytics of campaigns delivered to our website and/or booking engine Working cross-functionally across consumer marketing, creative, product management, and development teams Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and outside-in thinking on best and evolving practices, and being constantly at the edge of the newest high potential opportunities or ways of working, including BETA Programs, and is it possible pushes with existing partner, to develop new technologies, tests, or ways of doing things Advising on digital and marketing best practices, the latest tools, and systems Managing reporting for entire paid advertising channel, by gathering (from several individual sources - not only SEM/META), reviewing, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information to National Marketing Director. Developing measurement strategies that make sense and fight the creep of 'attribution theft' for the direct (website) channel Assisting Senior Manager of Analytics on brand website operations, such as tracking link creation, and specific reporting that 'touches' or affects the measurement of paid advertising tactics Contribute to team effort by developing effective relationships with internal staff, stakeholders, leadership, and strategic marketing partners Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 to 8 years related, professional level experience in SEM/META/Paid Digital Advertising or marketing within the hospitality industry. Experience in affiliate marketing highly desired Experience in partner marketing a plus Hospitality meta search (Google HPA, BING Destination Ads, TripAdvisor, Trivago, Kayak, etc.) a plus Google360 Analytics or Google Analytics experience a plus Strong technical aptitude. This is a directly supportive, hands-on role, requiring knowledge and the 'doing' of things. This role does not largely rely on any other personnel or department for support. Education Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Marketing, Digital Marketing Analytics, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Google Ads Certified a plus Google Analytics Certified a plus HSMAI CRME (Certified Revenue Management Executive) a plus Financial and budgeting acumen. Accountability Is self-motivated and able to work under marketing campaign deadlines, with flexible start and end dates, sometimes defined by other departments at the last minutes Provides operational guidance on duties, service standards and goals to direct reports Receives tactical direction on new products, processes, or plans, and can translate to an SEM/META Advertising strategy Knowledge Strong competition and industry knowledge Revenue management knowledge or background experience Direct channel (website) marketing for hotels, based on demand (Availability, Rate, Inventory) experience Google Advertising Product/Platform experience Professional know-how to meet technical standards, and a flexible, willingness to learn new systems, platforms, and technically challenging processes and/or skill sets Relationship Management Ability to work collaboratively across teams including technology, e-commerce, and marketing to drive programs to successful execution Convinces others, both within and outside the organization to accept new concepts and approaches Negotiates contracts with external vendors, and protects the company from partner/vendor engagements with costs/terms that are prohibitive to revenue goals Problem Solving Resolves defined problems and probes known sources for answers Manages single large and/or multiple, smaller/simpler projects, programs, and processes Is able to look at trends as a 'whole' but also on a singular basis to 'dig deep insights' out of emerging patterns in data Additional Information Other Requirements May travel up to 10% of work time Role is NOT a Work From Home (WFH) role and is 'in house' at our corporate offices in East Orlando, FL. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
