We are also a small practice (2 physicians) thus our staff are cross trained to be able to handle more than one role.
This position of insurance verifier needs at least one year experience with health insurance and primarily will:
Handle insurance verification and explain to patients their payment due, call patients to inform them if they have a balance due, Help enter checks and payments, work the aging reports, will also at times be required to answer phones (make appointments) check in and out patients.
Monday- Thursday 8:
00-5:
00 Friday- 8:
00-12:
00 (at this time we are currently closed on Saturdays.
When we re-open you will be required to work 1-2 Saturdays a month 7:
